9th Match of Indian Premier League 2018 between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils
Neither side has won a game yet this season. While Mumbai Indians suffered two heartbreaking losses, Delhi Daredevils were outplayed by Kings XI Punjab in their opening fixture in Chandigarh before losing to Rajasthan Royals in a rain-hit encounter in Jaipur. Both teams will be yearning to get on the board. There is very little to choose between the teams. Both units are high on firepower, youth and experience. However, neither team has gotten off the blocks. All that will change on Saturday. One team will get off the mark.
When: Apr 14, 04:00 PM IST
Venue: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai
The wicket at the Wankhede offers help for both the pacers and spinners. Close proximity to the Arabian sea helps the swing bowlers considerably, especially during early hours of the day. However, spinners have been known to benefit during the last couple of days of a Test match as the pitch turns into a vicious turner. Although the new ball does a bit in limited-overs cricket, the pitch tends to ease out and favour batsmen as the innings progresses. The venue provides great entertainment when it comes to T20 cricket.
