19th Match of Indian Premier League 2018 between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils
Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils will come up against each other in Match 19 of VIVO IPL 2018. Both teams have played four matches so far, but have just the one win on the board.
RCB had a very good outing against Kings XI Punjab, but have since gone down to Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai Indians, conceding more than 200 in each of those outings. The bowling department has been RCB’s weak link over the years, and that appears to be the case this season too. There is variety and experience in the bowling department, but the bowlers have struggled to find means to keep the runs down. It would be fair to say that RCB are still figuring out their best combination, and their next four matches – all at home – will give them an opportunity to find a combination and make a rapid climb up the ladder.
The Delhi Daredevils have had a four-day break since their 71-run loss to the Kolkata Knight Riders. There is plenty of talent and ability in the DD line-up, but the team hasn’t got their act together; they need things to quickly fall in place before it is too late. The Daredevils are yet to play a match at home this season; this match will be last of their five-consecutive-away-matches stretch, and they will be hoping to head home with the confidence of a win behind them. Can they?

Venue: M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru
Short boundaries and high altitude makes the Chinnaswamy track a heaven for batters in the limited-overs formats. Many big scores have been posted and chased down with immense ease. While it?s a batting paradise in the shorter format of the game, the track tends to help the pacers in Test cricket. One of the few Indian grounds to boast of a pitch with plenty of spice, many pacers have loved exhibiting their wares in the five-day version of the game.

Stats that matter
- Since the 2011 season, RCB have a 10-1 win-loss record against Daredevils
- AB de Villiers loves to bat against Chris Morris. In five T20 meetings, he has scored 50 off 21 balls against his compatriot without being dismissed.
- Glenn Maxwell, on the other hand, has poor T20 records against two key RCB bowlers: 26 off 25 balls with three dismissals against Yuzvendra Chahal, and 17 off 19 balls with three dismissals against Umesh Yadav.
- Rishabh Pant (3.25 balls per boundary) and Maxwell (3.33) have been two of the four most frequent boundary-hitters in IPL 2018, among batsmen who have faced a minimum of 30 balls. The other two in the top four are Andre Russell (2.90) and Dwayne Bravo (3.27).
- Umesh has been phenomenal against left-hand batsmen this season, conceding only 30 runs to them in 31 balls while taking three wickets.
